We are fortunate to be located in the Adirondack Park, full of forested mountains, hiking trails, and best of all-lakes with pristine waters.
We take our role as custodians of Lake George seriously so that we can pass on the same beautiful, clean and clear lake to our children. Since we purchased the marina, we have excavated a failing underground fuel tank and upgraded to an above ground tank, built an entirely new wastewater system, and completely overhauled the way we prevent stormwater from running into the lake. We have transitioned to solar power and incorporated electric boats into our membership club. We launched the first Aqua superPower fast charging station east of Michigan. We are excited about the future of Lake George!
Queen Boat Co is building towards becoming the ‘Home of Sustainable Boating’ in the Adirondacks. We want to help guide our customers to a sustainable solution that will give them their desired performance while allowing them to enjoy the benefits of quiet, environmentally friendly boating.
In 2018, we began working with Torqeedo, promoting electric outboards to Lake George boaters.
In 2020, we added an electric boat to our Freedom Boat Club using a Torqeedo Cruise 4.0 and two Power 48-5000 batteries.
In 2021, we expanded our electric outboard offerings with ePropulsion motors, and added Solar Panels to our suite of products with Solbian.
In 2023, we added a new electric pontoon to our boat club with a Flux Marine outboard. We also installed and are now operating the first marine electric fast charging station east of Michigan with Aqua superPower.
We are continuously assessing what products and manufacturers are ‘making waves’ in this field and hope to have more exciting product announcements soon.
